Restó René, restaurant fruit of love and friendship.

In fact, the history of our restaurant begins with Hermine and René, two excellent people who have met in Spain and have followed the last stage of their lives together, in an environment where love has reigned, helping each other…. It was nice to see them!

They have always been prone to help, sometimes even in difficult times for themselves, friendship was always present. Now that these two beautiful people are gone, it was time to honor them with the opening of this restaurant, which by the way they would have loved.

The restaurant

Mediterranean cuisine

Resto René is a restaurant serving avant-garde Mediterranean cuisine, based on respect for ancient traditions.

Our chef recovers millenary techniques to devise creations that surprise the eye, smell and taste. One of his passions is to unite the sea and the mountains: two elements that we find in this area of the Alicante Mediterranean and that he captures in the dishes of our tasting menus and the menu.

In front of the port of La Vila Joiosa and overlooking the sea, Resto René offers a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy an unforgettable moment as a couple, family or friends.

Good weather all year round

Due to our privileged location, in an area of warm climate and next to the Mediterranean Sea, where we enjoy good weather throughout the year, one of the most pleasant spaces of Resto René is our large terrace with chill-out space. The dining room, thanks to the large windows that frame it, is also bright and comfortable.

The Garden

Local ingredients

In our organic garden, currently under construction, we will grow fruits and vegetables of our own production to make our dishes: tubers, lettuce, different varieties of tomatoes or peppers, aromatic herbs …

The other ingredients come from local producers whenever possible: we prioritize proximity, but we also work with national or international raw materials that assure us the highest quality.
